Just a test topic so we can see what the posts look like.

If you are helping out on here, then as you know we are making a new layout for SF. We have to decide on colours and a new banner would be good aswell.

In the display section of the Admin Panel (scroll down to the bottom to get that if you have been made admin), you can find everything you need there.

should we have a bar on top, that has links to youtube/facebook page

Loving the banner and background

Otacon, is it possible to make the headerbar so that when it is clicked it is the url to the site? I am used to clicking on the Simply Fifa banner on the forum lol

A chatbox has been added. It is a main part of the site, so we need to get a good design on that aswell.

Bar at the top has been added. Feel free to add to it/change it.

Would you be able to make it so that the links open in a new page otacon? The links are in the javascript management.

Yeah we're going to sort that out and remove the white gap.

Maybe it's just me but I find the banner quite dark especially the text. Anyone else think that or just me?

yeah probably best to have it that way, lemme have a look

fixed the link issue on the banner.

now to deal with the gaps



this is the view for some of us with ridiculously wide screens lol.. so if anyone has a stadium or image we could use thats at least 1800pixels wide ( coz the current one loses quality when stretched above that to fit all the way through for large screens ) so big screen users wont see the black gaps, that would be awesome. Thats a heads up for you Dobbo when dealing with the banner

I think I have the link sorted now, so it wont fall to the side for smaller screen. The problem was when you let ccs side handle the banner image it was covering/placing on top on the link thus there was nothing to click.. then when you let the html side handle the image, because of its size it was falling over to the side for a smaller resolution.
I then stumbled on the link by luck when tabbing.. that in fact with ccs side the link was actually there juss above the M and P ( invisible image with size of 1px * 1px ).. so juss made a invincible gif the size of the banner and that's placed on top of the actual banner now. Not the best way I know, if theres any draw backs to the way this was fixed please let me know
